As a maker with over a decade of experience building digital products I'm equally at home as part of an engineering team in the role of technical product designer as I am part of a creative team in the role of software developer with a passion for front-end craft and design.
Most recently I worked on making sharing and presenting better building Swipe, a web based tool that takes presentations beyond the projector.
I previously worked as a mobile application developer and designer for over five years. During this time I co-founded and built GIF SHOP — The animated .gif maker for your iPhone which was featured numerous times on the App Store, voted Wired Magazine Editor’s Pick, FWA Mobile of the day, Gizmodo app of the day and more.
I studied computer animation and found my place in the industry as a technical artist. While in school and going back to the early 2000s I worked as a freelance web application developer building bespoke learning tools, content management systems and even a social network.
Product Designer / Developer, July 2014 — Present
Making sharing and presenting better with a small London based team. Joined the team in 2014 with the goal of building a cross platform content creation tool that would rival native performance and behavior. Designed v2 of the product and migrated the application front-end from a Backbone to React codebase. ( swipe.to )

Brought mobile visions to life for over five years. Outgrew our of offices three times in the process. Lead the product design, web and front end iOS development efforts. Developed and maintained a suite of internal tools for management and debugging of hosted messaging solutions. Set best practices and built tools to automate design and engineering workflows. Keep in Touch — Developed and designed a real time messaging tool to enable senior citizens to maintain communication with extended families and their own social circles. The software is currently being used as part of several ongoing research studies.
